How do you remmove the spare tyre underneath a nissan homy minivan?

I recently bought a 1986 nissan homy (basically the same as the nissan Caravan).





I have a spare tyre unerneath the body of the van, but I can't seem to find how to lower it to remove it. The only way would be to turn the van upside-down but that doesn't look like a great idea.





Help!|||No, you do not turn the 1986 model upside down... just on it's side will do. This should make the rear carpet flop over and reveal the bolt through the floor, which when turned with the vehicle wheel brace, will lower the spare wheel and carrier cradle enabling removal of the spare wheel.
