1989 nissan maxima the cables are in good condition and there is not any rust whatsoever it still wont start,it only turns over and that is it|||if your stating that the engine turns over (cranks) but does not start it is either electrical or fuel related.



check for spark at the plugs and also check to make sure your getting fuel to the engine.



easy way to see if it the fuel pump is to buy a can of ether and spray it into the throttle body if your getting spark then the engine will try to start from the ether, which would indicate a bad fuel pump, if it does not then your pretty much looking at something electrical like coils or ecm...
