How much does replacing a Nissan Murano CVT transmission cost?

I would appreciate if the cost of the parts and the average labor cost could be separated. Also a source that could be checked would be appreciated. Separately: Does Nissan offer an extended power train warranty (over the 6/60,000) for a fee? Are the CVT's reliable? Thank You in advanced.|||Better check that warranty again Nissan extended the warranty on CVT transmissions. CVT are just about as reliable as any other automatic trans. Nissan mechanics do replace regular automatics and CVT at about the same rates. Nissan Remanufactured CVT prices vary and what your local dealership charges may be different. So just a guess around $3,700 to $4,000. ( i just put them in not sell them) Good Luck
