So I've been calling dealers everywhere for a 5 or 6 speed 2005 nissan maxima and it's really hard to find. I've been wondering, does anybody know how many were made that year? I plan on just keeping on calling until I find one, but it would be nice to know how reasonable it is to look for one of these.|||Only about 10% of production were 6 speed good luck finding your dream car.|||The reason you are having a hard time is because it is a great car. No one is selling them. If you search ford escort you find 1000's because no one wnats them. The second reason is because you are looking for a stick shift. They were a bit limited.
It is good that it is hard to find. once you have one you won't want to sell it either.
I search "Maxima production numbers" and spent a few minutes looking but came up with nothing. I would guess 20,000 units.
